I can't stand how I'm being limited by word countMy friends at other unis get an average 3000 word count, not 2000. At least they've got the space to develop an argument.

so write 3000 and condense it down+/- 10% is usually allowed too so you have 2200

It used to be only last yearthat if you were only 1 word over, you'd get hit for 5 or 10% of your mark. They've changed it now, but I'm still a bit 'oh em gee need to be under the word count!1'.
