My dad told me as a kid, when I was young, that if I wanna tell something to someone important, like a teacher, to use the line "With all due respect".When I was about 20 or soo, I said to him "This is a bit like 'im not racist but...' " and he laughed so hard, as that was the whole point of why he told me.
