It's not having much effect
but I'm back on the walking again, did two miles this morning, and am trying to steel myself for three miles tonight.

The good news is
walking burns as many calories as running. Or something. I forget.
I've lost about half a stone already, and I'm feeling much better for it. Only another two and a half stone to get back to my wedding weight.
