its more likely that he's one of the ones that didn't get a decent education and was raised by people with similar viewsjoining the army was probably his only choice, and to him anyone who isn't british/european/american is the "enemy"

Sad thing is I've known him since he was about five.I'm not aware of his parents holding views like that, so I can only assume he's picked them up from the Army and / or tabloid journalism.
