The economy is likely to bump along for teh rest of the year without significant growththis is caused by factors both foreign and domestic and I don't believe it's something that can be artifically fixed by government policy. So we might as well MTFU and get on with life.
My clients are spending far more this year than last year.

course they can, there's valid reasons not to do it, such as it not solving anything in the long term and it'll screw over other countries and they might get a little shooty.
