4G doesn't exist in the UK at this point in time. I've no doubt that apple's move over to LTE will get the ball rolling faster this year..
... but it's a political rather than technical reason why it isn't here yet.

The big thing last year is Cloud... you have access to your entire music libary anywhere you have a connection, and have to be a little bit choosy (limiting it to a good hundred albums or soo) if you're taking it offline. That'll still give lots of room for books, magazines, telly and films.

I guess because I'm using my iphone for mp3, ps vita for films, it allows for me to have less on each device as they have different uses.
