I donno, didn't she recently lose her husband or something like that? Probably just wants to spend time with her daughter (and visa-versa). Not that I know the situation, not that I've been there, but I know if I just lost my Dad, I'd want to spend as much time with my Ma' as I can to help her during this very fearfull and confusing time... and that I'd give in to any of the annoyances and just dismiss them because they're not really important on the grand scale of things.
