We, as a country, have ruined italian foodI was shocked to see how much simpler the food is over there, but it is so much nicer.
Saw a guy with a 'pizza' that was nothing but a couple of pieces of mozarella, some rocket(?) and olive oil drizzled over it, that confused me.

i know, we fucking spank it.i once got sounded out by an italian because i put onions AND garlic in something. in my defense, it was roasted red onion and roasted garlic cloves, not like i was just slapping white onion and garlic into a spag bol, but apparently it's a no-no.
