I shall not be in the pub until 9.30pm
and, I shall have to run around some astroturf for 70 minutes to earn said beer. Therefore, I say, you sir, are a cunt.

Which pubs do you tend to frequent in Edinburgh? I like the St Vincent.

The Orchard is my local.
I drink in Leith a fair bit - Teuchters Landing, Bond No 9, The Kings Wark ... and then in town, errmm, lots. St Vincent is good but not been there for a while, you tend to forget about it unless you walk to Stockbridge from town and pass it.

I'll be in Dropkick Murphys tonight, but just because they sponsor my summer hockey team and I need to talk about arrangments for a tournament post-party this week. It's not a "quiet midweek pint" kind of gaff really.

I will be in Edinburgh in a couple of weeks to avoid the Olympics. Fancy a pint one evening?

Would love to
but I'm avoiding people avoiding the olympics by going to Vermont.

/although does depend when of course.

Dropkick murphys are one of my favourite bands.

It's not a bad bar either
in the "mental, late, live bands, inch of beer on the floor" kind of subset.
