I guess the difference is that India and Pakistan aren't fundamentally opposed to the others existanceand they also talk to each other a lot.

Well if the Israelies put some effort into addressing the palestien question then it wouldn't be a problem.More people died in the breakup of india than in the holocaust.

Actually that's not true at all, up to a million died in the partition. More people were displaced though.Like 12 million.
