yeah,
i had a long string of knitted wool, beyond that, I couldn't see it as worthwhile.

mind you, yesterday there was a woman who had used french knitting to make a necklace, so I guess it has a use somewhere

if you get the right yarn, it works nicely
Having said that, I also crochet with wire so perhaps you could french knit that too
