Did you read the 3rd book in the Strain trilogy?
I was really dissapointed by it.

It's my holiday read
I'm going to read all three back to back, but I am already prepared to be annoyed. I think I'll back it up by reading the shitty Scott Mariani trilogy - at least it's not trying to be anything but a vamp/action romp.
