Boiled a brand new blade in a saucepan, covered the pan, waited for it to cool. Then put clean kitchen gloves on to fit the blade back in to the knife. Heated the blade up until blue with a lighter, waited for it to cool slightly and then used it. Edited due to iPad keyboard.
