Been to court a few times. Haircut, shave, shirt and tie and act all apologetic and shameful. Assuming you're going guilty, which I was. You don't have to mean it, it just gives the judge/magistrates a better view of you.

There will be an element of compromise but she has literally zero chance of having my current court order (which was drawn up when my daughter was only one and a half) maintained now my kid is 4.
