I may be wrong, but don't they involve social workers and things in cases like this?Where they talk to the kid and find out how they feel about parent X and parent Y? Surely this can only be a good thing for you, as kiddo will tell them about all the fun and informative things you do with her.
Are you hoping to get better access for your Mum too?
