This town was amazing, was basically just a village square with houses surrounding itThere was a long table under the trees at the bottom, where there were a couple of old men, who would be sat there from morning til night, relaxing and chatting. Looked awesome.

My cousin owns a couple of Gites in France.The local village is just as you describe, there's a fountain in the centre of the square where people come to collect the water (it's from fresh springs or so I was told). The place could best be described as 'sleepy', the local bar does great food and there's a wood-fired oven bakery. Paradise (apart from the French, obviously).
