I'm the same, only I was a bit younger when I injured myselfThe only way to climb one tree was to jump off the fence, and pull yourself up. I did that, was halfway through climbing when I slipped and landed on my elbow, breaking my humerus.
Whilst heights don't hugely bother me, pictures like this still bother me somewhat.
