to be fair,
I've been on a couple of marketing and such courses recently that I foun helpful. I'm a twitter convert now, not for personal use, but as a marketing tool it is surprisingly effective.

but the sort of people that use it regularly are prime targets for marketing types.It's like someone built a little playgorund for idiots.

I must admit, I thought about setting up a Twitter profile for business purposes
A bunch of people I know also use Linkedin, but I'm not sold on that.
