The point is a basic tenet of Western Democracy, free speech, hasn't been true of this country for over 15 years and people's apathy to politics means that they don't know when things like this happen and so do fuck all about trying to stop it.
Notice no call to change the law. It makes me sad that people are, fundamentally, clueless.
