erm, how?it was done 50 years ago (as in jumping from space). How was it an "achievement" in any sense at all?
Unless you mean breaking the sound barrier. I fail to see how breaking the sound barrier in a spacesuit alone is somehow much harder than breaking the sound barrier in a space suit inside a metal box.
