Is the DB local? Normally the work is done on the server, but it can still take up a lot locally.Streaming is the future, but it is relient on a connection. Just so you know, iPlayer on iPad can download shows for offline viewing; not sure of the others. Or there is iTunes too. if you ain't bothered about legalities, then I can show you how to download stuff, it's quite a simple process.

db is local. Didn't know I could watch iPlayer content offline. Am back here in a couple of weeks so have got time to investigate. Ta.
Edit: couldn't care less about legality. I used to use letmewatchthis.com but it has gone to shit.
