'cus I'm a nice fella, and I don't want to discourdige her.It's the equivolent to me opening up a resturant... I'd want someone to tell me that's not quite practical, but that I should carry on cooking / having dinner parties / blogging /whatever.

It's a fine line - a VERY fine linebetween "not wanting to discourage someone" and "accidentally making them think that they can really do something that the clearly aren't capable of"
Tread very carefully with that. I must admit I tend to stick to telling people they aren't good enough if they aren't good enough, but then I'm a cunt, and you aren't.
