(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 15:54, 2 replies, latest was 12 years ago)
why does everyone in the world seem to go on about pulled pork at the moment?
is it because it sounds like a euphemism for wanking?

Made the shrewd decision to go contracting when you get made redundant yet?

(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 15:58, Reply)
he should leave his pension where it is (assuming it's a DB one)
This is my redundancy advice as a financial professional.

I've got three pension schemes and can't be arsed combining them into one or finding out whether or not I should combine them into one.
I might just throw the cunts away. It's not like pensions will be worth anything this century.
(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 16:31, Reply)
Combining them into one is not usually advised due to cost, differing fund performance and attitude to risk.
But it does happen.

If you have a DB one (doubtful if you're private sector) then transferring DC ones into that one for added years (again, assuming you would be an active member of the DB scheme) is the best thing to do.

But an IFA should be your first stop.

Oh yeah, and if your employer tries to set your pension up with NEST, opt out and take it private. NEST is utter shit.

Cor. I love it when you talk acronyms.
I might just build some more houses and rent them out to plebs. There'll always be plebs, right?
(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 16:38, Reply)
Yeah, plenty of plebs who rent shared places.
Try Milton Keynes, I hear the rental market there is booming.
(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 16:39, Reply)
Or Ireland.
I hear they have a massive shortage of housing following that boom that never really happened.
(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 16:42, Reply)
It's funny when people rent, they're just paying someone else's mortgage off.

(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 16:43, Reply)
Until the revolution, comrade!

(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 16:46, Reply)
Oh man
Interest rates are so low and rents are so high, it's open season on plebs for property owners.
(, Sat 19 Jan 2013, 16:47, Reply)
Lampposts are high too.
It'll soon be open season on landlords. String up the capitalist scum!
