I've been reading blogsstarted with one about dysfunctional families: nielsenhayden.com/makinglight/archives/014720.html#014720
Followed links from there to some links about abusive relationships in general. It's often like car crash TV but some of it is awesome - google "house of evil bees" for a truly great comparison between people who stay in an abusive relationship and those guys in a horror movie who keep explaining away the weird shit.
