Altalt: It's not really a recent discovery, as I've had the dogs a year now, but i can no stop singing the praises of a nice long stroll in the morning. Get up, go for a wander, have a bit of breakfast, then off to work. Always sets me up for the day, and the days i don't take the dogs out if i have an early start or a meeting aren't half as good.
