Not really my line
And not a good idea when there are still grants aplenty for cavity wall/roof insulation available.

This will ultimately replace that scheme, I suppose.

Cavity and loft insulation yes.
However, Cavityless walls will be over boarded internally with products like Celotex Thermal boards (this will include re-plastering) the tenant foots the bill over a 25 year period, and the bill passes onto the new tenant.

And how will this either work or appeal?
Your new job - it's not selling attractive looking but actually pointless insulation products, by any chance?

It's all about bringing down the carbon footprint, this will work very well for landlords

But if you've bought well and you're half responsible
Internals will be in good order anyway.

The only places I ever see with ropey internal walls are knocked-together back-to-backs and early 80's chuck ups.

Agreed

So effectivily this a new scheme to subsidise the arse end of the market?

(, Wed 6 Feb 2013, 20:52, Reply)
Consider this a post that strikes sufficiently so that 'cavity' becomes 'Cavy'.
