you know, steampunk is daft, but no more daft than a lot of other silly fashion trends, I don't want to sound like I'm defending these people, but at least steampunk comes attached some pretty interesting literature, and philosophy. All though, I doubt most of the idiots down at these steampunk meets have read or considered the movements origins.
I'll take steampunk over cybergoth, or those dick head wolf children in America or otherkin.
