I was just relieved that it ended before I dieYears of underwhelming books, thank christ it's done with so I never have to read them again

First one's a direct rip off of Lord of the Rings2-6 are alright fantasy books
7-11 are terrible
then the original author dies
next couple are fine
14 the final one is just a series of 'shock' moments where characters you've followed for fourteen books just die for no reason, the big bad guys have a philosophical debate and then the book ends and you wonder what you've really spent 17 years of your life reading
