Saw a guy in a club once that looked like Chris de Burgh's doppelganger.
My friend and I thought it would be funny* to ask him for his autograph as though we'd mistaken him for the famous guy. He refused. We asked again. He refused again. We were a little drunk** and got a little belligerant. He told us to fuck off.

What a lovely story
I once said happy birthday to someone in a night club. I thought I knew her, but apparently I didn't. Nevertheless, she appreciated the ill-timed birthday wishes.

Totally unbelievable, but completely true story
My wife and I were on holiday in Kent, and we went to this really nice little village for a mooch. While we were there, we were descended upon by shit loads of foreign kids (French I guess) who were asking for our autographs. We must have signed about a dozen or so each before they thanked us and ran off. It was probably the weirdest moment of my life.
