I think up to about 71 they were incredible, and actually most of their Brian Jones era records were toss.
They didn't get good for at least three years.

There were articles in the music press around 71ish questioning whether Mick Jagger was too old to be still prancing around a stage.

Did you watch that Being Mick documentary a few years back?
There was one bit where he was idly sitting at a piano singing and he sounded great.
Later on they showed him recording vocals for his forthcoming album, which he did in a 'Mick Jagger' style and he sounded dreadful.

I did not

From Aftermath to Let it Bleed will do for me.
Their early/mid-seventies 'classic albums' can get to fuck.

I love the critically-panned 'Their Satanic Majesties Request' JUST TO BE AWKWARD
My bro used to have the 3-D sleeve edition.

2000 Light Years from Home is one of my favourite singles by anyone. I really am a fucking acid casualty aren't I? :o(

I've never had a problem with that album.
And the critics who panned it all name tedious balls like Exile on Main St as their best album.
