Completely agree, I just found it frustrating.Then again, I've been battling with Gravity's Rainbow for a few years now, it's funnier than Catch-22 but about as hard to get into. Next time I have to do a long train journey I'll take it with me and have a long session with it.
It's a real shame, because unlike Catch-22 which I haven't enjoyed on any of the times I've tried to read it, it is actually a good read, it's just extremely hard going.
