I'm surprised.
It isn't the 1970s anymore, I thought money and jobs (outside London) were more equal.

Maybe 'the North' is the next big thing.

Leeds and York have great property markets.
York's really expensive though.

The north east is the only region in England
where exporting goods has increased rather than dipped, fact-fans.

Most of that is down to Nissan, mind, but it's nice to see us bucking the national trend.
