Altalt: I usually stay where I am, unless the bed is in some type of vehicle. If it happens to be, destinations have included Afghanistan, Paris, and various shithole military training areas.
Protip: If you must sleep on top of a tank's engine grate (for warmth in winter), let the driver know. Otherwise, panic and holding on for dear life may result.
