Following on from my 'tales of the unexplained' post
I have just bitten the bullet and accepted the loan I applied for, after having the builders out last night to arrange a schedule of works and to confirm what we wanted.

From having been offered finance at 12.8%, I've just been slightly stunned to find out that the actual rate has gone down to 8.4%. But I'm slightly mystified as to why.

Ah well. I won't grumble.

Don't grumble
accept it as a gift from the interest fairies!

Make sure you buy extra tea bags before the builders start!

Sorted
After a few weeks of dust, utter upheaval, piles of stuff in the way, nowhere to put the computer, inability to have a bath or shower or cook for a couple of days...

OMG, what have I done?????!

@ Davros
Ahhh...you just realized the hastle part of having the builders in. You poor dears.

But it will be sorted in a few months or so and you'll be glad you did it. At least, I hope you'll be glad you did it.
