The company said they might contact me tomorrow (which is when the MD returns). If I still haven't heard anything by then, I'll go ahead and set the bash date for the Tuesday. I think I can still get cheap train-tickets as late as next Monday, but I'd like to sort out a bash-date so that my fellow QOTW'ers don't fall off the edge from being on-edge too long.
Re kilt-undergarments: Does anyone remember that advert for the Lycos search-engine back in 2000 where someone wearing a kilt had to use an Internet search-engine to find pants? Just for a laugh, I browsed Lycos, typed in 'pants' and it brought up some kind of pants-fetish website.
