Actual questionanswer:Last time I treated myself was three years ago. Went to the friendly neighborhood mayor's office, got me a license for a .388LM rifle.
Then went to the friendly neighborhood gun shoppe and got a DSR-1 in .338LM. It is like sex, distilled to it's purest form and infured into a firearm. Okay, so there are hardly any firing ranges where the gun can really shine (read: 1km or longer), but what the hell. Other people get a Porsche for their midlife crisis, I got this thing.
