There's fuck all to dislike, and it'll hold together in a curry or stew better than most.
Now you know I've a lot of time for Mrs Al - but make no bones about it, I think she's wrong here and I don't care who knows.

I'm totally agreeing with you here Monty, and lets be honest, that's quite unlike me.
I guess its the Libertarian Student in me trying to get out.

I don't think you know what that means.

You're not in any position to judge whether what I think it means is correct or not since you seem to think it means salad, or purple, or something else equally ludicrous.

Yeah, sorry Al. I'm pretty sure you don't have any idea what you're talking about, mate.

This is superb use of the word mate.
I bet as you wrote it you imagined yourself saying it to a stranger in a pub and them being all scared at your intellectual prowess.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 12:01, Reply)
I guess if I were to use it in real life
it'd be accompanied by a dismissive eye-roll, if anything.

Putting aside all the macho posturing I still have no idea if you actually understand the difference
between liberal and libertarian and were merely trying to make a joke earlier.
(, Fri 7 Jun 2013, 12:11, Reply)
I'm genuinely not sure if you do.
It's not a simple distinction, compounded by it's use in American politics which doesn't even know what liberalism and conservatism really are.

But yeah, I was having a dig.
