My wife made a victoria sponge yesterdayExcept she couldn't find a cake tin so used a loaf tin. Then I discovered that she is more lethal with a book than she ever would be with a knife. She wasn't even close to a straight line, then she whipped up an entire pot of cream when half would have been more than enough and drowned it. This morning she wondered why I didn't want to take a piece of Victoria creamed brick with me to work.
