People cycling is a good thing (I even do myself sometimes). What causes the bad reputation is all the pricks running red lights, bouncing up on to the pavement, riding in the dark with no lights etc. (

+ refusing to slow down or take their feet off the pedalseven if they are about to fall over.
The lycra-clad variety are cunts to a man, especially in groups.
However so are car drivers who attempt to overtake them on blind corners cos they're too fucking impatient to wait 5 seconds.
