They did some pretty good tunes.While on balance I prefer the Stones, I must admit the Beatles had more range. I think they are over-played and over-rated, but they had a big effect on popular music. it's hard to view them objectively, but I think it's fair to say they weren't shit, except from a subjective point of view in which case all bets are off.
Unless Dozer Likes them, then they'd donkey balls.
