Partly correctWhile you could give up work, you'd still have to live to a budget. To live like a millionaire having wild parties and burning money to light your cigars etc. would take considerably more capital.

ThisYou could live off the interest reasonably comfortably (depending on location)but to do the whole yacht and jetset you would need a lot more...
