I work with a bunch of NIMBY's so I enjoy disagreeing with their whining. Latest is they are going to build houses near where a few of them live and are trying to get petitions signed on the basis that the land has lots of wildlife on it. I pointed out that once upon a time the land their houses were built on also had wildlife on and perhaps they should knock it down and turn it into a wildlife preserve. They didn't like that.
