The mirror have posted this little story:

A mum of three who had her innocent Facebook photos hijacked on to a fetish website is powerless to get them removed.

Becky Spraggs, 22, was re-profiled as a wannabe "used and abused" porn star.


A mum of 3 at 22? I'd say that's pretty used and abused hehe.

She could
have had triplets at 21, and have a stable relationship with the father.

It is of course quite possible that she's been knocked up by three different blokes, starting at age 14, but we shouldn't judge. :)

Yep...
I've got a friend who's had 3 by 22. First at 17, then 19, then 21.

But then, she is a really really good Mum and has created a stable, loving environment for them. So it's not all bad, eh?

This happened to my girlfriend's daughter.
Similarly there was nothing she could do, either- she can't afford the lawyers to get it done.

At least she wasn't foolish enough to post a phone number!

Every year
My University gives out huge reams of information on the dangers of posting personal info on the web. We run student awarenes courses hand out a forest worth of leaflets and yet ..... in this day and age we reach them far too late for the most part.

By the time they get to us at 17/18/19 many of them have already posted FAR too much on the web and are shocked and stunned when they realise they have no control over it and it is there to stay.

Personal information awareness needs to be taught from a young age alongside learning how to use a mouse and find a picture of scooby doo on google!
