I have received my dowels from Ikea and finished putting the TV unit together.
To discover that when I measured I neglected to allow for the plug socket being on one side and the edge of the patio door sill on the other so the unit is just about 1" too long to sit flush against the wall.
FUCK.

Really it's the aerial, the connector forces it to stick out a good inch and a half and I need an inch at most at the other end.
