Part of the problemIs that in order to show that the Iraq war wasn't about oil they have to pretend to be the policemen of the world, As brits in recent years we have pretty much opposed all conflicts even the Falklands wasn't hugely popular until Maggie and the Sun started banging the national drum. One of the great things about the modern world is the speed and level of information available and it is something that is increasing yearly.
