Not even an hour ago, I ate half an organic chicken basted in garlic and mixed herb butter, Duke of York new potatoes, spring greens with lardons and three Cumberland sausages.
I will have the other half cold tomorrow along with some tasty Wiltshire boiled ham.

Indeed, but I was in a nearby market town which has some fantastic local produce, including new potatoes which I love and won't be available for much longer. They're best served boiled, skins on as they're so floury. I don't mind them roasted though,as they fluff up beautifully and give those lovely crispy edges.
