youi have a medical question. when i was in and out of fainting, people were trying to give me water or cola, and one of the girls who'd done a first aid course said no liquids yet. in case i ever have to help anyone, i was wondering why. is it because they might choke???

If you're not awake enough it's not a good idea, what with the risk of it going down the wrong way. And also: if you're obviously injured it could possibly put back any surgery you might need.
