I fucking love Joy Division, and love Closer. I genuinely, personally of course, don't find them suicidally depressing. Sure, there's bleakness, catharsis, emptiness, an utter lack of pity or hope; but there's also celebration, joy (obvs), empathy and beauty in there.

But Psychochomp is that much of a tosser that he likes Muse, U2, Oasis and Green Day so he'll be clinically autistic enough to miss all that and just hear the bleakness, the abandonment of faith and the alienation and maybe, just maybe, do an Ian Curtis and hang himself in his kitchen.

But I like him, so fingers crossed that he doesn't fire up spotify, look up closer and succumb :'(
