My sister, who's in her early 40s, is a teacher.
She's got a bunch of late teens she coaches.

Last Christmas, she was asking what they were hoping to get, and one girl said "Decks".

"You're a bit of a DJ are you?" asked sis.

"Yeah, well, see ... " explained the teen, without any hint of irony, "In the old days, they had these things called 'vinyl', right ... "

Bit pointless now technics have stopped making 1210's.
Plus most of them in clubs are absolutely fucked because all they've been used for for the past 5-10 years is for resting the dj's cd wallet all across the tonearm.

I finally bit the bullet and bought myself a dj controller.
