I usually add a little water to strong ones
I had a gorgeous Auchentoshan which was 56% the other weekend. It needed a drop. Most whiskies don't need it, especially not the sweet ones.

Also, Balvenie Signature is well lush, get all over dat one.

What whiskey do cowboys drink in the films? I'd like some of that.

Bourbon
Not the same thing.

That is a biscuit. Even *I* know that.

My dad would disagree
He's an "always add water" guy. But just a tiny bit, take a sip, add a bit more, take a sip etc until you've determined the right amount for this whisky.

The Bunnahabhain I'm drinking at the moment literally only needs the first splash.
